I am posting this article at the end of our 3rd week of ‘lockdown’ in the UK. (Due to coronavirus, in case you’ve missed it, or are visiting at some point in the future.) I know that many people have been struggling with connecting to their intuition and are feeling a bit lost right now.
It’s not that surprising, there’s a lot going on.
If you’ve been working on your intuition, have a regular mindfulness or spiritual practice and suddenly feel confused and disconnected, don’t worry. Yes, it can be challenging. It can feel like all the work you’ve put in was wasted or pointless. Here’s the thing….
Connecting To Our Intuition Can Be Difficult In Difficult Times!
And you might be asking….
If I Can’t Trust My Intuition In Difficult Times, When Can I?
These times are unlike anything we have ever encountered before in this country. We have no frame of reference, and this is important, as I explain in the video below. At times like these it’s easy to think our intuition has deserted us – whoever saw this one coming, right?
We might even see initial news stories and think, ‘That won’t be too much of a problem, what’s all the fuss?’ (Honestly, this is what I did, the eternal optimist that I am! Where was my intuition then?)
This video helps to explain some of my thoughts about why you shouldn’t panic or feel like your intuition or spirituality has somehow let you down.
I hope that it helps and encourages you to keep developing yourself. It’s really important that we use all our tools, including our mindfulness skills and connecting to our intuition in these difficult times. And most importantly, to be kind to yourself.
